    Job Description

    We are looking for a B2B Events Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on creating and executing various booth experiences at industry trade shows, expos, etc. You will be responsible for partnering with internal cross-functional teams to conceptualize in-person booths, support thought leadership webinars, prepare and manage event timelines, coordinate technical aspects, process invoices and deliver all marketing materials and messaging.

    This position requires impeccable project management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of projects and tasks. Successful candidates will have experience planning and executing events (specifically within the B2B space), finding creative solutions to problems and collaborating with key stakeholders.

    This B2B Events Specialist role is based in Carson, CA. The B2B Events Specialist will need to be onsite on a reoccurring basis.

    A day in the office looks like this:

    • Managing end-to-end planning, including logistics and execution for Lakeshore’s presence at industry trade shows, which includes organizing marketing materials, processing payments and invoices, and engaging with conference hosts and vendors
    • Owning the project timeline and overall management for all assigned events as well as the related day-to-day communications with Sales, internal executives, relevant speakers and other program participants, and other external partners
    • Collaborating with cross-functional partners (including Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Creative) to develop best-in-class booth concepts and experiences for each event we attend
    • Escalating risks and challenges appropriately; and ensuring everything is delivered on time and on budget
    • Attending larger events to help set up booths, managing the run of the show, ensuring everything is running smoothly and serving as point person during the show
    • Managing our sponsorship/partnership opportunities at various industry events
    • Managing the creative needs for each event by developing marketing briefs and working with our internal design team to deliver highly effective marketing materials
    • Developing and maintaining the events calendar
    • Delivering post-event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment and recommendations for future event improvements
    • Assisting with onsite requests as needed, including attending onsite walk-throughs with executive teams
    • Communicating event deliverables, objectives, timelines and next steps through a variety of different platforms and systems including Workfront, Teams, Outlook, etc.
    • Supporting special events–related projects as needed, including internal events
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in related field preferred (Event Planning, Hospitality or Marketing)
    • 3–5 years of event planning experience, with additional experience in the B2B space
    • Extremely clear communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Positive, can-do problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to be nimble and pivot in project direction and execution when needed
    • Working knowledge and comfort working in Salesforce and Workfront a plus
    • Ability to make decisions and ask questions based on data
