HUMAN RESOURCES AND PAYROLL COORDINATOR
Lakeview Academy is seeking a Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator, who will be responsible for all human resource and payroll functions for approximately 130 employees.
This full-time position will report directly to the Assistant Head of School - Business Director. Compensation is competitive and dependent upon experience and qualifications. A background check, drug screen, and work authorization through E-Verify will be required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
· Minimum of three to five years of related experience required.
· Expert user of the ADP payroll system.
· Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
DUTIES:
· Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
· Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
· Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
· Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
· Prepares annual W-2’s.
· Reconciles quarterly 941 reports.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
· Administers background check, drug screen, and E-Verify programs.
· Assists with annual insurance quotes.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
