    Boston University School of Law is seeking to hire a part-time lecturer to teach a class on the foundational doctrines of US criminal law to its internationally trained LLM students during the fall 2021 semester.

     

    CRIMINAL LAW FOR LLM STUDENTS (S). TWO-CREDITS

    This class will introduce internationally trained LLM in American Law Program students to the basic doctrines and principles of substantive criminal law, including the justifications for punishment, objective offense elements, mental states, mitigating and exculpating defenses and various forms of criminal liability.

     

    A JD degree, plus extensive practice experience in criminal law matters is required. A strong interest in teaching international, non-native English-speaking students is required.   Prior law school teaching experience is strongly preferred.
