Job Description

• Develop and maintain successful relationships with business referral sources • Prospect new mortgage lending opportunities • Meet with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process • Organize file documents to prepare for bank review • Utilize Canyons' training materials, reference tools and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners. • Oversee and ensure successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training activities • Assist borrowers in determining the proper loan program, completing the loan application and gathering the necessary paperwork • Obtain and analyze customer credit reports • Communicate during the mortgage loan process with the appraiser, title officer, escrow officer, loan processor, and underwriter
