Founded in 2004 Lakeview Mortgage Bankers is a premier full service residential lending provider currently servicing New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Given our current rate of growth and new opportunities on the horizon, we are looking to expand our team in our corporate office located in suburban Long Island. Based our current production efforts, we have an opportunity available for an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor. The Ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a career, not just a job. Here is what we would like from you: The Mortgage Loan Processor will work hand in hand with our loan officers to ensure from application to closing that each transaction is processed correctly, and meets the standards that we have promised to our customers. Our ideal candidate must be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently. Organization and Accountability- We ALL take ownership of each file that comes in. There are many moving parts that we are relying on your expertise to help our clients with their home purchase or refinance. Our expectation is that you can orchestrate, and take responsibility for these moving parts to arrive at closing. Pride in your work and ability- We want a career focused person who has a standard that they hold themselves to as an employee. Take pride in your work, your relationships with your clients, vendors, agents and colleagues.  Communication and Customer Service- The most important piece of the puzzle. You will be working with title companies, real estate agents, lenders, clients, brokers, vendors. As we said, a lot of moving parts. The message should always be clear, professional and cordial. Even when the other side of the call may not always be. Document where you are in the process, set timelines for feedback. Have a general understanding that you are the expert in this part of the process. Whomever you speak to should know that they are your priority to complete the task at hand. Qualifications: At least 3 years of Mortgage Processing and Loan Submission Experience Expertise in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA guidelines Must have experience with Encompass, DU, and LP Structure loan packages for underwriting. Experience Collecting and reviewing documentation for all files to submitted to underwriting Coordinate and confirm loan closing with appropriate third party (escrow, title, etc.).
