    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Quality [Mechanicial} Engineer to join our team at our South Elgin, IL facility. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for programming and utilizing various software and equipment, such as Vision Systems, CAM Software, ERP Software, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Quality Control Software, CAD Software, and more.     Responsibilities

    • Program and utilize Vision Systems, CAM Software, and ERP Software to perform quality control inspections and ensure product compliance

    • Operate our MicroVu Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and analyze product dimensions and tolerances.

    • Use QA and CAD Software to analyze and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

    • Apply GD&T principles to assess product quality and identify any deviations accurately.

    • Conduct quality inspections and perform thorough checks on finished products.

    • Analyze QA data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    • Ensure compliance with the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and other customer requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience programming and operating with CMM Vision Systems, CAM Software, and ERP Software

    • Familiarity with QA and CAD Software

    • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and blueprint reading

    • Previous experience in quality-related field

    • Skilled in QA data analysis and report generation

    • Familiarity with the PPAP, CPK, SPC, and MSA requirements

    • Experience with machine brands such as MicroVu, Esprit, and Keyence is a plus.
