Land Acquisition Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 125k/year - Erlanger, KY

• Our client is a privately held homebuilder, who has become one of the most reputable builders in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. They are currently looking for a Land Acquisition Manager to join their team.
• The Land Acquisition Manager contributes to the organization's profitability and strategic goals by maintaining a prominent presence in the multifamily land market through contracts with landowners and others influential in multifamily development and to enable adequate supplies of desired properties to be secured at competitive prices in strategic locations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the market areas in which our client desires to build and identifies properties with viable development potential.
• Prepare feasibility analysis to determine the desirability of a property.
• Assist leadership in determining the vision for a new community.
• Collect, sort, tabulate, and maintain information and pricing in database related to prospective opportunities.
• Stay updated on changes to local zoning codes and zoning resolutions or utility and infrastructure upgrades that may improve or disadvantage building in specific areas.
• Collaborate with leadership to negotiate purchase price and terms with developers and landowners.
• Organize and maintain land acquisition records for filing systems.
• Collaborate with and assist in all entitlement issues related to proposed developments, such as geotechnical, environmental, and utility capacities, off-site improvements, and any other items affecting the development’s feasibility.
• Diligently manage communication and follow-up procedures to secure property.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of real estate development and/ or land development experience.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k - 125k/year range
