    Environmental Enhancements (https://eelandscaping.com), a leading landscape company located in Sterling, VA, is actively searching for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR and recruitment, with an understanding of HR policy and procedures. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset. While HR experience in the landscape/green industry is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Safety oriented
    • Plan, monitor and appriase HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees and counseling employees and supervisors.
    • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
    • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
    • Handle confidential matters with discretion
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Bridge management and employee relations
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of team members
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
    • Nurture a positive working environment
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
    • Budgeting and forcasting
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
    • Training and development
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 2+ years of experience in an HR / recruiting role
    • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes
    • Outstanding listening skills
    • Working knowledge of candidate selection methods
    • Well organized
    • Emphathetic
    • Ability to communicate at a high level - oral and written
    • Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies
    • Bilingual required
    • Verifiable experience with candidate sourcing
    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
    • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
    • Team player
    • Good time-management skills
    • BS degree in Human Resources or related field. Related experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
