    Practical Test: During the interview process, candidates will demonstrate their mechanical aptitude by disassembling and reassembling an appliance using your own tools without support. This is a key indicator of your readiness and ability to learn.

    Hands-On Experience: From day one, you'll be riding along with experienced technicians, learning the ropes through direct observation and participation.

    Rigorous Study: You're expected to commit to online homework, absorbing the necessary knowledge to excel in appliance repair.

    Regular Assessments: Every 2 to 4 weeks, you'll undergo tests to assess your knowledge, skills, customer service, and diagnostic ability. Meeting or exceeding benchmarks is crucial for continuation in the program.

    High Expectations: We seek individuals who are mechanically inclined, experienced with tools, and willing to go the extra mile. This includes investing personal time into learning and improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Within 30 days you will learn to accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in customers' homes.

    Within 15 days you will be able to provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment for work performed.

    Within 30 days you will be able to ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicle and equipment.

    Within 30 days you will be able to complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.

    At hire you will perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.

    Job Requirements:

    2+ years of experience using hand tools to maintain, repair, and build various types of machinery in a hobby or professional setting.

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Willingness to learn new technology to complete daily work.

    Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance.

    Physical ability to perform strenuous work under varying circumstances.

    Physical Demands: The employee will occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
