Responsibilities: • As a Landfill Mechanic at Ecosouth Services of Mobile LLC in Axis, AL, US, you will be responsible for repairing various equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and forklifts. • You will diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems to ensure the smooth operation of landfill equipment. • Performing tasks according to the preventative maintenance checklist will be part of your daily responsibilities. • Maintaining accurate records like work orders, card files, and PM checklists will be essential. • You will also service and maintain equipment like light plants and water pumps. • Following site-specific procedures and detailed job descriptions is crucial. • Additionally, you will be expected to perform any other duties as assigned.
