Landscape Superintendent

We are a looking for a Landscape Superintendent to accelerate growth, increase efficiencies and take our firm to the next level.

We are a mid-sized family owned landscape construction, maintenance and snow removal company. We have been in business for 12 years, built on a foundation of providing excellent products and services to our clients while taking care of our employees. We have the clients, equipment and labor to continue to grow. We are looking for a Superintendent to bring together all of our resources to propel us to the next level. We have been growing at over 20% a year and are looking for a Superintendent to build on past growth and focus on the day to day operation so the owner can focus on growing sales.

The Position:

Landscape Superintendent will be responsible for running 2-4 construction crews, 2 maintenance crews and a field mechanic. Job duties include scheduling, ordering materials, coordination of subcontractors, hiring and firing of team members, and site visits to insure work is being performed to company standards.

In the winter months the Superintendent will manage snow and ice removal for over 80 sites throughout Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Livingston counties, overseeing multiple subcontractors, sidewalk crews, plow and salt truck drivers. Will report directly to the CEO.

Candidates must have a minimum 5 years landscape field experience with 10 years in a leadership position with a chauffeur's license.

The Location: Landforms is conveniently located in Canton, MI.
