Residential home building CAD draftsman We currently have a full-time home building plans drafter available for immediate hire in our Purchasing and Estimating Department. We are looking for a detail/task-oriented candidate who is creative and has a great vision for design. This job will be 90% office time but occasional job site visits to verify the accuracy of our prints and takeoffs! Responsibilities: • Modifying and creating all new & current house plans • Creating framing plans for floor, ceiling, and roof layouts • Lot specific site plans • Must be able to learn current software for estimating (Planswift, Mark Systems) • Create budgets from accurate take-offs • Create purchase orders, work orders and provide accurate estimates for pricing requests • Monitor all variances and updating all necessary plan changes and estimates Qualifications: • 4 yr Bachelor's Degree or 2 yr Associates Degree • Minimum of two years experience working with AutoCAD 2010 or later • Passion for details and design in a fast-paced environment • Pass a drug test • PDP Testing • 40+ hours a week • REVIT • AUTO CAD Compensation: $55,000+ yearly DOE
