    The Human Resources Administrator will help manage and prepare different human resources documents, help answer employee questions or concerns, facilitate employee onboarding and training, and talent acquisition administrative tasks. This will include but not limited to recruiting, training, wage/benefit administration and compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. Provides support to management staff and hourly Memorymakers.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
    • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
    • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
    • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
    • Provides overall clerical support to the HR department and the Corporate Office.
    • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
    • Assists with new hire orientation for all new hires.
    • Administers on-boarding paperwork and enters all required information into HRIS system for newly hired employees.
    • Assists with creation and distributions of offer letters from time to time.
    • Notify and provide information to employees for company benefits.
    • Create and terminate company email addresses as well as distribution lists.
    • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits open enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and end of employment celebrations.
    • Assists with note taking for employee relation issues.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and eloquently.

    ** ** ** KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:******

    • Experience handling HR Administrative tasks such as: Unemployment claims, Workers Compensation, Insurance, etc.
    • Highly organized and efficient worker; skilled at multi-tasking
    • Positive and personable demeanor with good listening skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced computer proficiency with previous HRIS System experience
    • Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed
    • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
    • Works well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
    • HR competence and knowledge of HR process and computer programs
    • Professional integrity, sense of responsibility and maintains high confidentiality
