    Landmark Hospitality & Art of Hospitality Workers Alliance is looking for a People & Culture Advocate with experience in the hospitality industry!

    Landmark Hospitality owns and operates unique and iconic venues in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We specialize in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels. We are passionate about creating memories for our team members and guests alike.

    Art of Hospitality Workers Alliance, founded and supported by Frank and Jeanne Cretella of Landmark Hospitality, is committed to transforming the industry by prioritizing the well-being of our hospitality workers and their professional development.

    In this role, you will guide our Memorymakers by curating and designing career paths and contributing to our culture of growth and development. Additionally, you will aid aspiring industry professionals through our not-for-profit, which operates three unique schools. Your responsibilities entail career development, training, and curriculum programming for culinary and hospitality workers.

    Introduction classes include ESL, personal finances, ServSafe, and culinary arts. Advanced classes designed to guide career paths for Landmark Hospitality team members include hospitality management and entrepreneurship classes. Landmark Hospitality and Art of Hospitality Workers Alliance ensures post-graduation employment at Landmark Properties.     ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create the curriculum for Landmark Hospitality & Art of Hospitality training programs.

    • Coordinating training at a venue level.

    • Drive recruitment for all roles.

    • Support our Memorymakers!

    • Develop a full complement of training videos accompanied by certificate testing.

    • Work with marketing to keep the social profile strong, encourage participation in both classes, and support the non-for-profit.

    • Monitor Glassdoor, indeed, and LinkedIn to enhance our online reputation.

    • Work with various state agencies to partner in employment advancement and mentorship while implementing a progressive model for transforming the hospitality industry's approach to team members' well-being and career growth.

    • Lead initiatives to enhance coaching, training, and career opportunities for our team members.

    • Create a supportive and inclusive culture that fosters personal and professional development.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive organizational change and promote a positive work environment.

    • Support and coordinate all Landmark Hospitality, human resource initiatives, and business practices.

    • Create an atmosphere of being the employer of choice.

    • Develop a positive working environment, support, engage, and guide venue managers with the assistance of the SVPs and President of Hospitality.

    • Assist and support management staff with effective recruiting and interviewing techniques to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified Memorymakers.

    • Assist venue managers with Memorymaker issues or concerns and develop problem-resolution strategies.

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need.

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

    • 6+ years with experience in retail, hospitality, service, talent management, and culture development.
    • Experience working in the hospitality industry.
    • Flexible and agile in partnering with management to design and develop talent and/or learning programs reflecting the different needs across the organization.
    • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills.
    • Ability and passion to roll up sleeves (hands-on work style) and be a team player.
    • Effectively manage change and shift gears comfortably.
    • Able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance.
    • Ability to be an effective internal consultant, relationship builder, problem solver, and team player.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
    • Demonstrate interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Must be passionate and dedicated to success.
    • Grant writing experience is a plus

    Schedule: On-site at our Home Office in Plainfield, New Jersey, Monday through Friday in a full-time capacity.
