Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and growth of our landscape and irrigation service accounts. You will work directly with clients to ensure that all their landscape needs are met, providing high-quality service, developing new business opportunities, and managing relationships. This role requires a blend of customer service, project management, and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Serve as the main point of contact for all landscape-related inquiries and service needs.
Account Management: Oversee the execution of landscape service contracts, ensuring that services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Sales and Business Development: Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing accounts. Drive new business by prospecting, cold calling, and networking to generate leads.
Project Coordination: Work with the operations team to plan, execute, and supervise landscape maintenance, enhancements, and installations.
Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and manage service schedules, ensure budgets are adhered to, and track expenses.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and exceeds client expectations. Conduct site inspections and audits regularly.
Problem-Solving: Address any client concerns, issues, or complaints in a professional and timely manner, providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client communications, job progress, contracts, and billing information. Provide regular reports to senior management on account status and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Business, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in landscape account management, landscaping, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, design, irrigation systems, and pest management.
Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Aspire software.
