We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a landscaper and horticulture support person. You’ll follow the crew leader to perform lawn care and maintenance duties for our customers, including mowing, fertilizing, mulching, edging, raking, pruning, and any additional landscaping tasks. As well as working in our 3-acre nursery and greenhouses. Each day will be different as you move from garden maintenance, landscaping, and nursery duties Job seekers should take pride in working as part of a dynamic team. Responsibilities: • Make sure lawn care, groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance duties are completed including mulching, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, raking, edging, and pruning • Assist your team with customers’ landscape design, landscape construction, landscape installation, and landscape maintenance • Drive a small dump truck • General nursery duties such as potting plants, watering, weeding, etc Qualifications: • At least 2 years of experience as a crew member landscaping for residential or commercial properties • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent • Excellent stamina and physical health • Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site is required • Strong working knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment including edgers, blowers, clippers, chain saws, rakes, hedge trimmers, and lawnmowers • Must be able to commute to Metchosin daily Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
