    Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

    Position Summary

    Industrial Pro Recruiting is conducting a confidential search for a Landscape Architect to join a growing multidisciplinary design organization. This role offers the opportunity to help shape a wide variety of land development projects from initial planning through construction documentation while collaborating with architects, engineers, planners, and other design professionals.

    The successful candidate will contribute to projects that may include commercial developments, mixed-use properties, healthcare campuses, educational facilities, public spaces, parks, residential communities, and other site development initiatives.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Prepare conceptual landscape designs, site layouts, and detailed construction documents.
    • Develop grading plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and site amenity details.
    • Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, planners, and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
    • Produce technical drawings and documentation suitable for permitting and construction.
    • Interpret applicable zoning ordinances, development standards, and local design requirements.
    • Participate in design reviews, project coordination meetings, and client presentations as needed.
    • Support multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and established project schedules.
    • Contribute creative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, constructability, and long-term maintenance considerations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
    • Four or more years of professional landscape architecture experience.
    • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and related landscape design software.
    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications to develop presentation graphics and project materials.
    • Demonstrated experience preparing grading plans, landscape plans, construction details, and site development documentation.
    • Solid understanding of site layout, grading, drainage coordination, and landscape construction practices.
    • Ability to review and interpret zoning ordinances, municipal development standards, and permitting requirements.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary project environment while managing multiple assignments.

    $80,000-$90,000 per year
