    Job Title: Landscape CDL Driver & Construction Equipment Operator

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape CDL Driver and Construction Equipment Operator to join our team. This dual-role position involves transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites using commercial vehicles (CDL required), as well as operating a variety of construction equipment to assist in landscaping and site development projects.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in both transportation and operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and trenchers, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

    Key Responsibilities:

    CDL Driving Duties

    Safely operate CDL-class vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, trailers, etc.) to transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.

    Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.

    Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles; report any maintenance or safety issues.

    Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.

    Ensure adherence to traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

    Equipment Operation Duties:

    Operate various types of construction and landscape equipment, including:

    Skid steers

    Mini-excavators

    Backhoes

    Front-end loaders

    Trenchers

    Compact rollers

    Perform basic landscape grading, excavation, trenching, and site preparation.

    Assist in hardscape installations (e.g., retaining walls, patios) and softscape work (e.g., planting, sod installation).

    Maintain and perform daily safety checks on all equipment.

    Assist with general labor tasks when equipment is not in use.

    Qualifications:

    · Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

    · Minimum 2 years of experience operating landscape or construction equipment.

    · Knowledge of DOT regulations and proper load securement.

    · Ability to read site plans and follow layout instructions.

    · Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stoop, and work in varying weather conditions.

    · OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

    · High school diploma or GED preferred.
