Teufel Landscape is seeking a motivated Landscape Construction Technician II to join our growing construction team. This role is ideal for someone with landscape construction or related outdoor construction experience who is ready to expand their skills and take on greater responsibility in the field.
As a Landscape Construction Technician II, you will work alongside experienced crews to install commercial landscape projects, including irrigation systems, planting, grading, hardscape elements, and other site improvements. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality work while continuing to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Perform planting, soil preparation, mulching, and landscape installation work.
- Assist with grading activities, material placement, and site preparation.
- Support irrigation installation, including trenching, pipe placement, and backfilling.
- Assist with hardscape construction, including base preparation and material staging.
- Safely operate hand tools and small equipment.
- Maintain quality standards while supporting daily production goals.
- Identify and communicate jobsite challenges, material needs, and quality concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work collaboratively with crew members, Leadpersons, Forepersons, and Superintendents.
- Continue developing landscape construction skills through training, coaching, and hands-on experience.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry 50+ pounds.
- Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Work outdoors in changing weather conditions and active construction environments.
- Ability to complete fall-protection training and maintain certification as required.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and Functional Capacity Evaluation.
