    Job Summary

    We are looking for a skilled Landscape Crew Leader to join our team! Our crew leaders oversee and operate with crews to provide landscape services including but not limited to; basic landscape maintenance, landscape installation and services like irrigation and drain installation.

    In this department you are responsible for preparing and driving company equipment, directing, and developing their crews to ensure quality work is performed, caring for equipment, and ensuring safety. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this is a hands-on position which allows you to take full ownership in accomplishing the work in the field.

    Responsibilities:

    Knowledge of sod, shrub trimming, plantings, mulch, and other installation techniques

    Knowledge of machinery including but not limited to: dingo, sod-cutter, cement saws, chainsaws, rototiller, aerators, and power-washers

    Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes

    Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans

    Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws

    Develop and train crew members

    Delegate jobs to crew members

    Communicate effectively with crew members, management, and clients and solve problems as they arise

    Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as Landscape Crew Leader with strong knowledge of landscape practices

    Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

    Experience with the use of machines, hand-held and power tools

    Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time

    Valid drivers license with a good driving record

    Willing to work in all weather elements
