The Landscape Design Assistant will support our Landscape Architect throughout all phases. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field who want practical experience in a design/sales environment.
This role offers exposure to design, client interaction, sales, estimating, and software while building technical and professional skills.

Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Landscape Architecture,Landscape Design, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of landscape design software or CAD programs (training provided as needed).
Prior experience with constructing both hardscape and softscape developments, plant knowledge, and graphic preparation preferred.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Great communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
(Responsibilities may evolve based on project needs and intern skill level.)
Assist with the development of landscape designs based on client needs, site conditions, and project goals.
Assist with site visits, measurements, and documentation.
Help create site plans, sketches, and basic 3D renderings using landscape design or CAD software.
Product sourcing and proposed materials.
Support plant selection, hardscape materials, and layout concepts under the guidance of the Landscape Designer/Architect.
Create visual aids for client preparations.
Support Project Managers and Sales Team as needed.
Client & Team Communication
Participate in internal design meetings and project discussions.
Maintain clear communication with designers, project managers, and office staff.
Estimating & Documentation
Assist with quantity takeoffs and material lists.
Help gather pricing information for plants, hardscape materials, and other landscape components.

$19-22/hr
