We are currently seeking a Landscape Design Associate to support our Lead Designer with the technical, production, and administrative aspects of residential landscape design projects.

This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented design professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to bring creative concepts to life. The Landscape Design Associate plays a critical support role focusing on drafting, revisions, technical documentation, and design coordination, while collaborating closely with the Lead Designer throughout the design process.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys supporting creative vision through strong technical skills, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in helping deliver exceptional finished designs.

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate between $25-$35 (depending on experience). We also offer 401K (4% match), bonus potential, health insurance plans, PTO, and the opportunity to work with a driven team of highly motivated individuals.

Responsibilities for Landscaping Design Associate:

• Assisting the Lead Designer in preparing conceptual residential landscape design packages including AutoCAD drafting and Photoshop plan rendering (experience in Sketchup/Lumion) a plus.
• Leverage knowledge of plant health, soil conditions, and regional plant performance to support successful landscape designs.
• Drafting concept plans and construction document packages using (CAD) programs.
• Assist in preparation of building permits and HOA submittal packages under the direction of the Lead Designer.
• Assist in review and completion of agency submittal forms and responding to plan check comments.

Requirements for Landscaping Design Associate:

• 1-3 years of experience in production documentation; CAD drafting and conceptual design graphics.
• Experience in landscape architecture/design, architecture, interior design, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of landscape construction methods and building codes.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work; creative critical thinking and analysis.
