Description of the Job: The Landscape Enhancement Project Leader is critically important to our growth and success. The Landscape Enhancement Project Leader is responsible for leading your landscape enhancement crew members to provide quality landscape maintenance, snow & ice removal and landscape enhancement services to residential and commercial properties safely and efficiently. In addition, the Landscape Project Leader must develop the people that report to them. Lastly, the Landscape Enhancement Project Leader will assist the Operations Manager with projects and assist in their absence. Success in this position is indicated by jobs in which contracts are renewed, jobs completed in the budgeted hours, and low negative turnover of crew members.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform additional landscape maintenance and enhancement services
Perform other landscape maintenance and enhancement services
Operate Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Enhancement and snow removal equipment
Communicate with operations manager regarding job site and service issues.
Maintain commercial pesticide applications certification (we will help you secure this).
Safely utilize pesticides if necessary
Prepare truck, equipment and materials needed for the day
Be an active part of our training process by attending or conducting certification training sessions on a regular basis.
Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts
Managing and overseeing the crew’s efficiency and quality
Training and developing crew members
Work alongside, other crew members
Ensure work is being conducted safely for the employees, the customers, the public and our environment Landscape maintenance
Work alongside, delegate, and distribute work according to job site size, time, and available resources
Responsible for final inspection of job sites
Safely operating tools and equipment.
Participation in 24/7 critical snow and ice management services
Requirements
Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Able to safely operate commercial vehicles and trucks with trailers
Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Able to handle the physical demands of the position
Be punctual and reliable
Accountability to themselves and to their team
