Position Overview

Baker Landscaping & Concrete is seeking an experienced Landscape & Hardscape Designer / Estimator to join our growing team. This role blends creative design, project estimating, and client-facing sales. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 3D landscape design, elevation drawings, estimating, and customer communication while helping clients bring their outdoor living visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

· Create detailed 3D landscape and hardscape designs, renderings, and elevation drawings.

· Meet with clients to understand project goals, site conditions, and budgets.

· Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and material takeoffs.

· Present designs professionally and assist in closing sales.

· Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and installation teams.

· Ensure designs meet quality standards, codes, and best practices.

· Maintain organized project documentation and client communications.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in landscape and hardscape design and estimating.

· Proficiency in 3D design software (SketchUp, Dynascape, VizTerra, Structure Studios, AutoCAD, or similar).

· Strong knowledge of hardscape materials, plantings, drainage, grading, and construction methods.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred Experience

· Design-build landscape or outdoor living industry experience.

· Horticulture or landscape design education or certification.

· Previous estimating or sales experience in landscaping or construction.
