About Us

R&D Landscape is a full-service landscape company serving Mid-Michigan with landscape construction, maintenance, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and snow management services. We are seeking an experienced Landscape Installation Foreman to lead landscape construction projects and help develop the next generation of team members.

Responsibilities

Lead landscape installation crews on construction projects.

Coordinate daily project activities and crew assignments.

Operate skid steers, excavators, loaders, and related equipment.

Install hardscapes, drainage systems, plant material, and landscape features.

Read and execute project plans and specifications.

Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Train and mentor crew members.

Communicate project updates with management.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3+ years of landscape construction experience preferred.

Previous crew leadership experience preferred.

Experience operating heavy equipment.

Valid Driver's License required.

Chauffeur's License required.

DOT Medical Card required.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain quality standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
