Position Overview

Sustain Lawn & Landscape is hiring Landscape Laborers to help maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the Lansing area.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying physically active, and being part of a team that takes pride in maintaining beautiful properties.

Landscape Laborers work alongside experienced crew leaders completing lawn maintenance, landscaping services, and seasonal property care.

Job Responsibilities

Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging

Assist with landscaping and property maintenance projects

Maintain clean and professional property appearance

Operate commercial lawn care equipment safely

Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials

Follow daily service routes with the crew

Maintain safe and organized job sites

Assist with seasonal clean-ups and property services

Support snow removal operations during winter months when needed

Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to perform physical work including lifting, walking, and bending

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to work well with a team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous landscaping or lawn care experience

Experience operating commercial lawn equipment

Valid driver's license

Work Environment

Outdoor work performed in changing weather conditions

Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and standing

Operation of commercial landscaping equipment

Compensation & Benefits

$16.00–$18.00 per hour depending on experience

Health insurance available after 90 days
