Banana Landscape is a growing local landscaping company proudly serving commercial and residential clients throughout the Treasure Valley. We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, values teamwork, and understands the importance of reliability and quality service.
Position Overview
As a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you will lead and work alongside a maintenance crew performing commercial landscape maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, clean-ups, and seasonal services. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, excellent attendance, and the ability to work efficiently outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Winter work includes snow and ice management services.
Responsibilities
Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew
Perform commercial landscape maintenance including:
Mowing
Trimming
Edging
Air Blowing
Pruning and clean-ups
Perform spring and fall property clean-ups
Safely operate commercial landscape equipment and mowers
Maintain high-quality standards on all properties
Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and professionally
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Utilize the Jobber app for time tracking and job management
Assist with snow and ice removal services during winter months
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience REQUIRED
Foreman or crew lead experience preferred
Experience operating commercial landscape equipment and mowers
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance REQUIRED
Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and perform physical labor throughout the day
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
Fertilizer or herbicide application
Irrigation repairs
Pruning
Landscape construction
Snow removal
Master gardening knowledge
Pay & Benefits
Full-Time Position
Monday–Friday schedule (No weekend work)
Typical shifts are 8–10 hours/day
Pay: $20.00–$26.00/hour depending on experience, leadership ability, and performance
