    SRE Engineering, D.P.C. is a certified M/WBE construction management firm with deep roots in New York City's public infrastructure. We are currently seeking experienced Landscape and Parks Construction Inspectors to support active and upcoming NYC Parks Department projects across the five boroughs. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work on high-visibility public-sector projects with a firm that invests in its people.

    Essential functions

    · Inspect, supervise, and control daily construction activities for site safety, permit compliance, and agency coordination

    · Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to technical requirements, plans, and specifications

    · Conduct on-site measurements, quantity tracking, and field documentation throughout construction

    · Maintain accurate daily inspection reports, field logs, and progress records

    · Attend and participate in job-site and progress meetings with contractors and agency representatives

    · Enforce project safety protocols and all applicable regulatory requirements

    · Report regularly to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager on construction status and issues

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered

    · Minimum 2–3 years of construction inspection experience, preferably on NYC Parks, DDC, or DOT projects

    · Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in field reporting and documentation

    · OSHA 10 certification preferred; SST card required for NYC projects

    · Reliable transportation required; valid driver's license preferred
