Job Summary:

Southern Holiday Homes is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Groundskeeping & Lawn Maintenance Technician to help maintain the curb appeal and outdoor health of our properties. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating clean, well-kept, and inviting outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Mowing: Maintain lawns by trimming grass to a consistent and appropriate height.

Edging: Define and maintain clean edges along sidewalks, driveways, patios, and flower beds.

Weed Control: Identify and remove or treat weeds in lawns using manual or chemical methods.

Weeding: Remove weeds from plant and flower beds to maintain an attractive landscape.

Pruning: Trim shrubs, small trees (under 6 feet), and bushes to preserve plant health and aesthetic appearance.

Debris Removal: Collect and dispose of sticks, branches, leaves, and other natural debris.

Leaf Blowing: Use leaf blowers to clear leaves and debris from lawns, pathways, driveways, and patios.

Qualifications:

Previous landscaping or lawn care experience preferred.

Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely (e.g., mower, blower, trimmer).

Physically able to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team.

Work Environment:

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.).

Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.

Requires weekend or holiday availability.
