    We are growing at 15% year-over-year and are forecasting 35% growth in the coming year, including the launch of a new design-build division. To support this growth, we are hiring a Landscaping Business Developer - Commercial to drive new commercial maintenance sales and expand existing client relationships.

    This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for a sales professional who wants to build a book of business, earn strong commissions, and grow alongside a company that delivers on what it sells.

    Compensation and Benefits Snapshot:

    • Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000

    • Commission: Performance-based, with accelerators

    • On-Target Earnings: $85,000–$105,000+ annually

    Responsibilities for our Landscaping Business Developer – Commercial:

    Revenue Growth

    • Generate $500k–$700k in new commercial maintenance contracts annually

    • Grow $300k–$500k in enhancement and additional service sales within existing accounts

    • Total revenue responsibility of $800k–$1.2M annually

    Account Management & Expansion

    • Manage and retain an existing $500k commercial account portfolio

    • Identify and close enhancement, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities

    • Ensure strong renewals and long-term client relationships

    Business Development

    • Proactively prospect and cold call:

    o HOAs

    o Property management companies

    o Commercial and industrial sites

    • Work provided inbound leads while independently generating new opportunities

    • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, estimating, proposing, closing, and handoff

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Work closely with operations, production, and admin teams to ensure successful execution

    • Represent the company professionally in the market

    • Uphold pricing discipline and margin expectations

    Requirements for our Landscaping Business Developer – Commercial:

    • 3–7+ years of commercial landscape sales, business development, or account management experience

    • Proven success in B2B sales with cold calling and relationship development

    • Strong understanding of:

    o Commercial maintenance contracts

    o Enhancements and add-on services

    o Horticulture, turf, and landscape services

    • Experience using CRM systems (LMN experience is a plus)

    • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a large book of business

    • Professional communicator with strong follow-through.
