    LANEONE FINANCE & ACCOUNTING ANALYST:

    LaneOne is looking for a Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.  You'll work hand in hand with Finance, Operations, HR, and our accounting consultants to refine and develop finance and accounting processes as the business continues to scale. The position will report to the Director of Finance. As only the second full-time finance role, you are expected to roll up your sleeves and deliver.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own the end-to-end tour accounting process including, but not limited to, venue and artist settlement, sales tax collection and remittance, payment and reconciliation for event experience expenses
    • Partner with Director of Finance and executives to model tour economics to support individual artist deals, ongoing forecasts, and long-range financial planning
    • Support the Director of Finance in managing monthly forecasting, budgeting, and accounting processes
    • Continually look for ways to help our team get better at what we do, drive growth, and help the company achieve its long-term financial goals, in the most efficient way possible

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor degree required with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    • 2+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or consulting
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP
    • Superb time management, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong track record of taking initiative and multi-tasking
    • Proven, solid Excel skills and computer skills with knowledge of general ledger systems
    • Affinity for technology and a passion for utilizing software to reduce inefficiencies
    • The capacity to operate within a collaborative environment with highly motivated colleagues and interact with other parts of the business
    • Strong personal integrity with the highest ethical standards
    • A passion for or experience in the music business
    • Eligibility to work in the United States
