We are currently seeking an experienced Operations professional who is willing to volunteer their time for this cause. The Head of Operations will:

• Take the lead in defining Lantern Academy's  operations strategy, build processes and structure,  to achieve organizational goals.
• Work cross functionally to establish an organization that works seamlessly across  all areas of the company, from Learning Platform Development, IT, Teaching,  Curriculum Development, and Marketing, 
• Recruit and lead a high performing operations organization that oversees every aspect of operating functions in the organization
• Develop measurement, operational metrics and KPIs, and make data driven decisions.
• Experiment and innovate to bring Lantern's operations to the next level.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years work experience; high-growth operations in a startup environment is strongly preferred.
• Broad operational experience: This role will oversee Lantern's student experience and  life-cycle on a daily basis.
• Strong cross-functional leadership experience; you are comfortable guiding via influence and push the department to your left and right to operate at their best.
• While we don't expect you to have deep experience in each of these areas, we expect that you can learn fast and figure things out as you build.
