We at Lantronix are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team! As an UI-UX Designer at Lantronix, you will be responsible for delivering the best online and offline user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Leveraging a deep understanding of our product direction and close customer intimacy, you will be designing the user experience and user interface. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining standardized product flow and assets, ensuring product design continuity, and building a great customer experience.

•    Contribute to company KPIs by attracting, retaining, and reactivating customers through great product experiences, while creating best practices and standards. •    Combine creativity with an awareness of design elements, delivering intuitive and user-centered solutions. •    Design modern, useful, and desirable user interfaces for cutting-edge web applications in a multi-team environment. •    Create concept sketches, wireframe mockups, and clickthrough prototypes for UI design and interaction models. •    Establish user experience principles and guidelines across applications and marketing materials by evaluating market leaders and trends, brands, partners, customers, usability studies, and site application metrics. •    Establish and maintain a user-interface specification and design style guide. •    Integrate company branding through design and implementation into product while maintaining alignment with marketing objectives •    Conduct ongoing user research testing new ideas, validating production worthiness, and evaluating intuitiveness and enjoyment of products •    Alongside Product Line Management, communicate with clients to understand their business needs, objectives, and goals, and assist in developing the product roadmap based on customer scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements. •    Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences. •    Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to carry design from concept to final implementation. •    Work collaboratively with the Front-End Engineering UI team to iterate and polish design features to a high-quality state. •    Test for intuitiveness and an enjoyable experience for customer product engagement •    Integrate company branding through design and implementation into product while maintaining alignment with marketing objectives •    Conduct ongoing user research and test new ideas for production worthiness •    Be a passionate and effective leader for design with all audiences. •    Drive incremental revenue by attracting and retaining customers through great product experiences, while creating best practices and standards.

Qualifications

•    1-3+ years of relevant experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role •    UI design portfolio •    Degree in a relevant field •    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills •    Ability to discuss and explain design options in a cohesive and concise manner •    Attention to detail •    Problem solver, critical thinker, ability to deconstruct a problem into its constituent pieces •    Proficient in range of Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, etc.) and sketching / wire framing tools •    Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (JavaScript fundamentals a plus) •    A demonstratable knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer & Software Interaction  •    Strong work ethic and passion for the job centered on productivity
