    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Wide Format & Sign Production Lead to help lead and grow our wide format department. This is a hands-on production leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, maintaining high quality standards, and helping a team succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Own the daily workflow and production priorities of the wide format department.

    Produce and finish a variety of wide format products including signs, banners, graphics, decals, and custom applications.

    Prioritize work to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

    Perform quality control before jobs leave the department.

    Communicate capacity constraints, material shortages, equipment issues, and production concerns early.

    Train and support team members on equipment, materials, and production standards.

    Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.

    Help improve processes, reduce waste, and increase department efficiency.

    Qualifications - Required

    3+ years of hands-on experience in wide format printing, sign production, graphics production, or a related industry

    Strong working knowledge of wide format digital printing and finishing processes

    Experience operating equipment such as:

    Roll-to-roll printers

    UV flatbed printers

    Laminators

    Vinyl cutters

    Routers

    Experience with vinyl application, mounting, laminating, trimming, weeding, masking, and sign assembly

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work

    Ability to identify and troubleshoot production, material, and equipment issues before they become costly mistakes

    Working knowledge of common substrates, vinyls, adhesives, laminates, and their appropriate applications

    Basic math, measuring, and computer skills

    Effective written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, design, prepress, and production

    Leadership & Ownership

    Sees what needs to happen next and takes appropriate action

    Communicates issues early and works toward solutions

    Is comfortable recommending a better production method when appropriate

    Helps train others and shares knowledge freely

    Holds themselves, their department, and their work to a high standard

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift and move materials and finished products used in wide format production

    Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely in a production environment
