    About Us

CR&A Custom Inc. is a leader in large format digital printing and visual display solutions. We work with top brands, event producers, and creative agencies to bring their vision to life through impactful graphics, displays, and environmental branding. From concept to installation, we take pride in our quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

    Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Large Format Print Finisher to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating finishing equipment and performing manual finishing techniques to transform raw printed materials into final, client-ready products. You’ll work on a variety of exciting projects, from building wraps and banners to rigid signage and vehicle graphics, serving as the final quality checkpoint before product delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

Operate digital flatbed cutting tables and automated cutting systems to cut rigid and roll materials to exact specifications.

Operate wide-format laminators for encapsulating, over-laminating, and mounting prints to rigid substrates (e.g., Sintra, acrylic, foam board).

Perform precise manual finishing tasks, including hand trimming, weeding vinyl, taping, and applying grommets.

Execute industrial sewing tasks for banners and fabric graphics, including hemming, adding pole pockets, and sewing silicone edge gaskets (SEG).

Perform quality control inspections on all finished goods, checking for color consistency, correct sizing, and surface defects.

Properly pack, label, and kit finished items for local delivery or shipping to ensure they arrive safely and damage-free.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine maintenance on finishing equipment.

Collaborate with the printing department and project managers to ensure deadlines are met and specifications are followed.

    Qualifications

2+ years of experience in large format print finishing or a related production environment.

Proficiency in operating industrial cutting tables and wide-format laminators.

Familiarity with a variety of rigid and flexible substrates, including vinyl, mesh, canvas, styrene, and coroplast.

Ability to read and interpret job tickets, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail—precision is critical.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight deadlines.

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs (media rolls and rigid boards) and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, reaching).

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

    Preferred Skills

Industrial sewing experience (single needle, double needle, or conveyor sewing systems).

Experience with automated cutting software and file preparation.

Knowledge of proper packing techniques for freight and large-scale shipping.

    Forklift certification or experience.
