About Us AlphaGraphics Lake Norman is a locally owned and operated print, sign, and marketing communications company. We are passionate about customer service and helping businesses succeed. We’re growing and looking for a skilled Large Format Sign & Vinyl Specialist to join our team in Cornelius, NC.

Responsibilities

Operate wide-format printers

Produce signs, banners, decals, window, and wall graphics

Vinyl cutting, weeding, masking, and application

Laminating, trimming, and mounting graphics

Fabricate and assemble sign components

Assist with sign installation when needed

Maintain equipment and shop organization

Review artwork and set up production files

Assist with digital print and bindery when needed

Follow production schedules and job tickets accurately

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience in large format printing or sign production (preferred)

Experience operating vinyl plotters, laminators, and finishing tools

Familiarity with RIP software (ONYX), a plus

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude

Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Strong work ethic—dependable and eager to grow
