    US: A national movement helping moms and families during the pandemic. What started as one person has grown to a network of 4000 volunteers across the country in a matter of months. Beyond supporting struggling families with home cooked meals, we inspire our audience to be positive, empathetic, non-judgmental, and to strengthen their own communities. We’ve been featured on the Today Show, in Southern Living, and on local news channels in most major metropolitan areas.

    THE ROLE: It’s a tall order, we realize, but as a fast-growing movement, we’re all hands on deck and need our chosen social media manager to be the same! Responsibilities for this role include: 

     

    • CONTENT CREATION: Create content (images, video, graphics/infographics) along with well-written, creative and emotion-inducing copy for use on all social media; Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
    • SCHEDULING: Schedule social media posts using our current scheduling platform, Loomly (familiarity with Loomly is preferred)
    • ENGAGEMENT: Take ownership role to actively engage with our community members to ensure a consistent voice and positive experience for our audience always keeping in mind our mission and baseline philosophy as outlined above
    • STRATEGY: Create an actionable and dynamic social media plan including diverse campaigns and associated monthly planning calendar
    • GROWTH HACKING: Be an active force our brand, building awareness across various social media channels and using innovative methodology to accomplish rapid scale
    • TRACK ANALYTICS: Currently use and understand all insight, measurement and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.) to showcase momentum and/or highlight areas for improvement
    • NEWSLETTER DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION: In collaboration with the team, develop, organize and layout the Lasagna Love monthly newsletter. Develop and maintain an up-to-date email distribution list

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-3 years of proven social media management experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Proficiency with social listening and scheduling tools such as Loomly, Buffer and HubSpot
    • Strong computer skills using Google Suite, Canva, Slack and more
    • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
    • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
    • Ability to simultaneously work on many deadline-driven projects at once
