Engineering Internship - Summer 2021 Latcore's Interconnection System's Redmond location specializes in the customized design of high-quality in-flight video displays. As an intern at Latcore, you will develop knowledge through real world experience. You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by assisting the engineering team with day-to-day job assignments. You may be assigned to additional training or project work. The Company's internship program is intended to provide students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience. Duration of internship is approximately 8 - 12 weeks Education & Skills - Candidate are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursing an Engineering Degree. Mechanical Engineering preferred. - Education Level: Incoming Sophomore or higher - SolidWorks (Certified Associate a plus) - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Familiarity with Solidworks Part, Assembly, and Drawing operations - Ability to complete specific tasks with minimal supervision - Ability to take direction and feedback constructively - Basic understanding of materials and manufacturability is a plus - Willingness to learn and help wherever needed, both in and out of engineering
