    Job Description

    We are seeking candidates between the Senior Analyst and Senior Consultant levels within Government Financial Compliance. The level is flexible and determined by a candidate's years of relevant experience in the field. In this role, you will support the organization in providing financial management services to life sciences companies and institutions to advance novel life science products (therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics and devices), primarily in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense, infectious diseases and other public health threats.You will also support new business efforts as required for both internal and external clients.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide consulting services for LBG clients including, but not limited to:

    • Provide professional accounting support and guidance in the development and interpretation of accounting principles, polices, and procedures.
    • Support and/or lead the drafting and editing of proposals and engagement documents, including serving as the Cost Volume for the preparation of client proposals.
    • Actively participate in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems that correctly allocate and record costs incurred (FAR Part 31) and abide by all contract provisions referenced in United States Government contracts (FAR Part 52).
    • Support and/or lead indirect rate development and monitoring, supporting program invoicing, budgeting monitoring, budget forecasting, and summary financial reporting.
    • Advise and/or support clients on the preparation of incurred cost proposals, incurred cost submissions, cost impact proposals, and CAS disclosure statement.
    • Audit preparation, including forward pricing, incurred costs, business systems, and timekeeping.
    • Demonstrated expertise of applicable regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, etc.) to proactively develop and/or maintain an effective and efficient control environment designed to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Manage individual workload to ensure the timely and compliant accomplishments of project deadlines and accurate deliverables.
    • Support the management of existing and potential client relationships from a business development perspective.
    • Assist with planning, tracking and follow-up on sales and marketing activities in pursuit of engagement opportunities.
    • Collaborate with other personnel to address issues from a compliance perspective.
    • Focus on customer service, with agility and clear communication.
    • Support strategic planning as it relates to discipline.
    • Adhere to LBG quality standards regarding client deliverables.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Create Company Intellectual Property

    • Support the creation of internal tools, systems, methods and materials that help the Company perform more efficiently and with higher quality results.
    • Support the creation and delivery of publications and presentations that support and build on the Company’s reputation and recognition in its target markets.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree with a technical emphasis in a relevant field.
    • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.
    • Works well with teams, often comprised of multiple disciplines.
    • Experience with the financial management of United States Government contracts.
    • Professional communication style and 100% dedication to client satisfaction and support.
    • Knowledge of drug development lifecycle and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years post-degree experience in financial management or a related field.

    Compensation for this role is between $60,000 and $160,000.

    Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
