    Job Description

     

    PRIMARY ROLE:     Working as part of a larger team to drive sales efficiencies, the ISSC manages the pipeline of business across a large geographical area while focusing on (1) nurturing and qualifying new dealer leads; (2) assisting with new dealer onboarding and existing dealer needs; (3) forecasting and pricing initiatives; (3) preparing sales presentations; and (4) collaborating with RSMs and the RSD on sales support, customer service, warranty, and operations to assure customer satisfaction in the following states: AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, LA, MS, MT, NM, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, WA, WY   

    The Inside Sales Coordinator works under the direction of the Regional Sales Director to drive product category growth and dealer loyalty to the Latham brand, ultimately to meet or exceed the sales and profit targets of the region.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1.       Assist in the maintenance of dealer lead boundaries within the Sugar CRM system

    2.       Manage leads thru CRM opportunity funnel moving from “soft leads” to “hot leads” and engaging Latham dealers

    3.       Provide assistance in forecasting territories and identifying opportunities for growth in markets using market study data as well as local permit data

    4.       Maintain systemic price discounts and evaluate customer profitability

    5.       Attend RSD-led Territory Planning sessions to assist in developing the yearly sales forecast

    6.        Canvas specified geographical regions and solicit new accounts

    7.        Leverage existing dealer relationships to increase sales volume thru promotion of additional Latham products

    8.        Develop relationships with existing accounts to maintain current business

    9.        Keep Wholesale Distribution branches stocked with all appropriate Marketing collateral

    10.    Be a conduit to Customer Service on customer issues; communicate issue resolution to the RSMs

    11.    Collect, organize and report on competitive data and intel. Research competitor web sites and monitor social media outlets and industry trade magazines 

    12.    Attend Trade Shows and Open Houses as needed

    13.    Manage and communicate daily activities to management through use of Sugar CRM

    14.    Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent working knowledge and experience in the industry and business will be considered
    •  3-5 years of experience in the recreational products, construction, landscaping or similar industries
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and record account activities through a CRM system
    • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills; strong interpersonal, customer relations, service and negotiating skills
    • Strong time management and planning skills required, coupled with experience and productively working independently while being accountable to a larger team
    • Ability to work under pressure and remain an effective representative of the Company
    • Mechanical & Technical aptitude are preferred
    • Competent in Microsoft Office:  Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Mobile applications, and online conferencing software
    • Travel may be required occasionally, but is not an essential requirement
