    JOB DESCRIPTION: 

    Supply chain Supervisor will be responsible for the following processes through the team who will be under his/her supervision: examining workflow and utilizing analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, and enhance supply chain processes. Review and supervise all the work regarding design, prepares reports, smartsheets, dashboards and summaries for statistical analysis and planning purposes. As well his/her team will be responsible to interprets trends and patterns to help the business increase cash flows, inventory turns, and employee productivity. His/her team will provide assistance to Vallen US organization. 

     

    Main Responsibilities

    Duties included, but are not limited to:

    • Effective process utilization by reviewing and analyzing team metrics to ensure accuracy and timeliness for all operation related support functions. Identifies areas where additional opportunities exist to improve operational service levels.
    • Achieving process knowledge and ongoing team education based on implementation of transformational initiatives.
    • Implements new and/or improved processes and procedures in coordination with Vallen US guidance. Partner with Sales, CSR and Finance Vallen US teams on process development, program changes and identifying areas of mutual improvement.
    • Utilizes process knowledge to ensure processes are aligned and comply with all legal, contractual, and internal financial Vallen requirements.
    • Provide Coaching, mentoring and lead the trainings to the Supply Chain's team assigned.
    • Resolves internal customer complaints about processes, quality of service, time of response or other specific issues.
    • Leads operations meetings and customer business reviews.
    • Provides feedback to his/her team (on time & accurate), regarding activities and duties assigned, procedures, quality of service, workload, etc. and will be responsible of team performance reviews according Vallen HR procedures.
    • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams comprised of individual contributors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. May coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
    • Directs routine and repetitive operations of team.
    • Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
    • Collaborates daily with direct reports and peers within similar functions primarily for the purpose of exchanging information.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    SKILLS

    • Spanish and English bilingual skills
    • Proven experience handling or leading teams
    • SC experience and work under pressure during high volume as business requires
    • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
    • Professionalism and positive attitude, managing situations from moderate to high complexity
    • Achievement of Key Performance Indicators as per role assigned
    • Ability to perform while under high-pressure situations and developing customer relationships
    • Reports creation with specific cadence
    • Analytical mind with business acumen
    • Problem-solving aptitude
    • Attention to detail

     

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial Engineering, logistics, business management or related fields.
    • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
    • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data

     

    EXPERIENCE

    3+ years in supply chain or similar positions: purchasing, planning, inventory management, etc.
