Growing government contractor looking to add a Jr. Java Developer to their team. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Columbia, MD.

Job Description:

• Looking for a junior developer to join an experienced Agile SCRUM team and contribute to the development of application features in Java REST-based web services using a DB2 backend and an AngularJS front end.
• Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, at our Columbia, MD office.

Technical Details:

• Designing and development of End to End customer self service module using annotation based Spring MVC, Hibernate and AngularJS.
• Developing REST-based web services in Java using the Spring framework and J2EE technologies.
• Implementing Java & J2EE design patterns and writing JPA/Hibernate queries.
• Development of unit tests (using X), integration tests (Cucumber, Selenium) and load tests (Gatling scripts)

Specific Skill sets Needed:

• Java
• AngularJS
• SQL
• Windows environment proficiency

Additional Skill Sets Preferred:

• Spring/Hibernate
• REST API design/development
• Cucumber/Selenium experience
• SQL
