    Job Description

    General Responsibilities: Completing specific deliverables in the areas of incident security response, vulnerability assessments, certification and accreditation, data-mining/business-intelligence foundations, and security product deployments. Participate in executing vulnerability scans and documenting resulting findings for customers as well as local compliance validation. Participate in documenting and publishing security related workflows and procedures. Minimum Required Skills: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field with an emphasis in networks and/or systems security 4 years directly related work experience Must have a an interim DoD Secret security clearance Knowledge of and experience with system vulnerability scanner utilities and supporting tools (Nessus, NMap, Splunk, Nexpose, Metasploit, IP360, WebInspect, Burp, IDA Pro, gdb, OWASP, ollydbg, wireshark, Ettercap, BEEF, etc. Knowledge of and experience with supporting programming languages, C, C++, ASM, Python, Perl, or equivalent. Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate issuance and associated workflows. · Knowledge of security tools such as Raytheon eWaiver System, Nessus, Splunk, nCircle IP360, eEye Retina, Wireshark or SolarWinds. Knowledge of risk assessment procedures, authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, and security attack pathologies. Must be able to work effectively as part of an inter-organizational team as well as an individual contributor. Ability to rapidly generate security related content in MS Office formats (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, process flows, web content) that is targeted and comprehensible at all corporate organization levels. Highly Desired Skills: 6+ years of experience as an Information Security Technologist in an operational IT environment. Information Security certifications (GIAC, SANS, CISSP, INFOSEC, Cisco CCIE, CEH). Hands on experience operating security tools in an operational environment. Experience with security artifacts as they relate to RMF, IRAMP, DIACAP or NIST. Understanding of system administration, incident response and information system registration. Knowledge of databases and information systems design and development. Strong communication skills - oral, written and presentation Minimum Required Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study
