Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Practice Lead to update methodologies and approaches to reflect changes in the data management technology landscape.
- Determine the information and product architecture and deliver detailed system design. Provide technical leadership for the development of data models, data movement architectures and data delivery mechanisms.
- Ensure that the project deliverables operate as per specifications and meets customer SLAs.
- Develop complex components and be able to guide overall performance tuning of delivered solutions.
- Perform or support project management including development and management of project plans, status reports and overall client interaction, as necessary.
· Facilitate and assist in the definition of project scope, including the creation of Technical requirements / design with Acceptance Criteria, Release Plans, Backlog Prioritization, as well as identifying key dependencies and risks.
· Coach, mentor, and support the development team communicating effectively, managing conflict amongst team members, identifying and removing impediments, and applying self-organization and shared leadership with the team.
· Perform QA on the deliverables and assist as necessary in resolving technical challenges
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Ten years experience in the development of data management or executive information systems.
- Must have experience in the development of process and data models.
- Must have good understanding of Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling.
- Must be extremely proficient with Cloud migration (AWS Data Stack – S3, EMR, Kinesis, RedShift, Glue, Tensor)
- Must be proficient in building optimized ETL solutions (Performance and Cost of Delivery)
- Must have experience building systems / infrastructure to support Accelerated BI
- Experience with Ab Initio and Teradata is a big plus
