Growing government contractor looking to hire a Java Developer. Viable candidates will need to have a DOD Secret clearance. Viable candidates should ideally have some Scala experience as well. Position would allow for 100% telecommute.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER JAVA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experienced with Core Java and with Scala. Database experience preferably with Oracle The candidate should have 8 or more years of experience coding. He/she should be capable of understanding and solving complex problems Financial services experience required Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach Version control – Git Spring Bachelor Degree or higher Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience following the SDLC (Waterfall, Agile)

SKILLS DESIRED:

Previous experience working in a Cyber Security environment High quality software architecture and design methodologies and patterns Work experience as level-3 support for applications Layered Architecture, Component based Architecture XML-based technologies Unix OS, Scripting, Python or Perl
