Job Description

• Creation and establishment of a secure and well-managed application enterprise environment in AWS

• Responsible for delivering operational excellence and "always on" customer experiences with apps/services in AWS Cloud.

• Work in an Agile SDLC and collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Software Delivery.

• Automate and implement Infrastructure as Code using configuration management tools

• Develop strong senior business stakeholder management to understand key business processes and priorities.

• Promote best practices and champion innovative ideas and continuous improvement opportunities that will improve the effectiveness of teams.

• Manage the platform in line with the bank’s policies and architecture standards to ensure technology risks are understood, communicated, and effectively mitigated. The ideal candidate would have a background including:

• Technical experience as a developer, systems engineering, or DevOps responsibilities.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as CloudFormation, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, and CloudTrail.

Strong understanding of monitoring implementations and administration

• Self-motivated and self-accountable for delivery and adherence to standards and delivery timelines.

• Strong communication skills (Written and Oral)

• Adept at engaging, collaborating and influencing business as well as technology teams • Must be confident, proactive, highly organized, resilient and articulate in describing complex topics • Learning mindset and problem-solving skills
