    Job Description

    Growing government contractor looking to hire a Test Engineer to their team. Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance. Position allows for telecommute options by the still want candidates to live in the MD/DC/VA area. 

    Primary Responsibilities

    Develop and document testing plans and testing processes/procedures.

    Document and execute unit test cases, system test cases, regression test cases, smoke test cases, etc.

    Coordinate testing with stakeholders.

    Document system defects in appropriate systems and track to closure.

    Research, recommend, implement and operationalize automated testing tool(s).

    Draft training materials and participate in and lead user training activities.

    Draft technical/system documentation.

    Secondary Responsibilities

    Support taxonomy and ontology definition and integration with other IC taxonomies and ontologies using standard formats and tools.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    Top Secret (TS) Clearance/SCI

    Experience with:

    Developing and documenting testing plans and testing processes/procedures.

    Documenting and executing unit test cases, system test cases, regression test cases, smoke test cases, etc.

    Coordinating testing with stakeholders.

    Researching, recommending, implementing and operationalizing automated testing tool(s).

    Drafting training materials and participating in and leading user training activities.

    Drafting technical/system documentation.

    Desired Qualifications

    Background in military (AF preferred) intelligence collection, analysis, and targeting and adversary weapons systems/equipment.

    Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Experience working with ontologies, semantic technologies and knowledge representation.

    Knowledge of controlled vocabularies, classification, ontology and taxonomy.

    Understanding of key project management concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks.

    Understanding of the basic software development lifecycle and agile concepts.
