    Mclean, VA

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Sponsor is seeking a Web Developer to work in tandem with Instructional Systems Designers and Multimedia Designers to develop rich interactive web-based training products. The candidate may also work with video producers, graphic designers and web designers in the creation of other media products and applications. The candidate will conduct quality assurance and accessibility testing on multimedia and web products and interface with customers and SMEs. The candidate will also participate in requirements gathering sessions for multimedia activities and other meetings required by the Sponsor.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Minimum 3 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in web development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and jQuery libraries.

    2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing highly interactive custom web sites and interactive applications from concept phase through final deployment.

    3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing cleanly-coded, front-end prototypes for client web sites.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing web-based training.

    2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience programming web sites using HTML5, CSS, or JavaScript for mobile and desktop use.

    3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with AJAX, PHP, Java, Ruby, XSLT, SQL Server or JSP.

    4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience designing and developing databases and integrating them with web-based learning products and systems.

    5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience implementing accessibility features in web and interactive products.

    6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience migrating interactive Flash content to HTML5.

    7. Demonstrated on-the-job experience managing multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced team environment with enforced deadlines.

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or completion of a certification program in a relevant field of study.

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Poly Level Clearance.
