    Job Description

    Growing Government Contractor looking to bring on a Front-End Developer. 100% telecommute but do want potential candidates to reside in the Maryland, Washington D.C. or Virginia area. Candidates have to be a US Citizen and clearable up to a Top Secret Clearance

    Responsibilities

    1. Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions.

    2. Maintain implementation lifecycle details in tracking software.

    3. Implement software in accordance with user and technical requirements and company and project standards.

    4. Actively engage and participate in standup, review, planning, backlog grooming, design, testing and other meetings.

    5. Actively participate in design and code reviews.

    6. Test software.

    7. Draft software documentation.

    8. Contribute to company software development best practices and tools.

    9. Perform and document technology and tool evaluations.

    10. Perform development and production operations support. 11. Perform other tasks as assigned. Required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. US Citizen. Clearable up to Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance

    2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

    3. Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, etc.

    4. 5+ years of professional software development experience

    5. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES5 and ES2015+)

    6. Good understanding of reactive programming techniques/libraries

    7. Full stack awareness, but role is predominantly front end.

    8. Development experience in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML and similar technologies on multiple projects

    9. Expert level experience using libraries, tools, and frameworks such as: Angular 6+, RxJS, AngularJS, NodeJS. 10. Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 11. Theoretical and practical knowledge of software development cycles, configuration management (git, subversion, etc.), and issue/requirements/bugs tracking (JIRA, Test Track Pro, etc.)

    10. Experience with virtual machines and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, VirtualBox, VMWare
