SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

The future is full of potential, and you'll start immediately using your experience to:

• Manage and secure technology solutions including servers, endpoints, storage, virtualization, switches, firewalls, and cloud systems
• Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware) to improve client system performance and reliability
• Provide systems analysis and participate in making recommendations on potential hardware and software purchases and upgrades for our clients
• Actively monitor system performance, security policies, and logs through our robust RMM tools
• Implementing, managing, and monitoring cloud-based backups
• Develop system documentation using strong technical writing
• Troubleshoot and repair of hardware, software, networking, and email
• Help Desk support
• Diagnose and troubleshoot challenges in networks and technology
• Setup and support of Office 365 Suites for our clients.  (Including new implementations, hybrid builds, and full on-prem to cloud cutovers.)
• Ability to work weekends or after hours for occasional system updates and emergencies

Our ideal candidate:

• has worked as a systems administrator for 5+ years
• Extensive experience with the administration of Windows AD/DNS/DHCP
• Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, ESXI, or both
• Experience in supporting remote computers/servers/users
• Ability to engage clients with patience and clear communication
• has a drivers license and a safe driving record
• has demonstrable ability to work successfully against budget and timeline
• Certifications are plus (MCSE, CCNA, or other IT-related certifications)
